Dầu tăng giá làm vô hiệu hóa chính sách cắt giảm 1% thuế nhiên liệu

Theo số liệu má»›i nhất từ RAC, giá dầu thô thế giá»›i tăng vọt Ä‘ã làm cho ná»— lá»±c cắt giảm thuế nhiên liệu 1% trong ngân sách của chính phủ trở nên vô hiệu.

Theo Ä‘ó, giá xăng trung bình tại Anh hiện nay là 133,55p/lít, tăng 0.02p so vá»›i giá trung bình hôm 23/03 khi chính phủ vừa thông báo cắt giảm thuế.

Tại thị trường Bắc Ireland hôm thứ Sáu, giá xăng không pha chì là 133,83p/ lít, mức tăng cao nhất ở Anh, cao hÆ¡n 0.03p so vá»›i ká»· lục má»›i xác lập hôm 18/03. Cùng ngày, diesel cÅ©ng tăng cao lên mức 140,09p/lít, tăng 0.39p so vá»›i hôm 18/03.  

AA cho biết giá trung bình của dầu diesel tại vÆ°Æ¡ng quốc Anh hiện tại ở mức 140,13p/ lít, tăng 0.13p so vá»›i mức ká»· lục má»›i xác lập hôm 23/03.

Theo Adrian Tink, nhà hoạch định chiến lược RAC cho biết: “Tình hình thị trường dầu mỏ nhạy cảm nhÆ° hiện nay chứng tỏ má»™t Ä‘iều là người tiêu dùng vẫn chÆ°a có được lợi ích từ việc cắt giảm thuế. Giá cả vẫn liên tục leo lên các mức cao mà không hề có dấu hiệu dừng lại. Ngài thủ tÆ°á»›ng Ä‘ã ná»— lá»±c rất nhiều trong việc bình ổn giá nhiên liệu xong rút cuá»™c nó chỉ dừng lại ở việc bình ổn nguồn thu của chính phủ. Thêm vào Ä‘ó, dù Ä‘ã cố gắng trì hoãn xong ngày 01/01 tá»›i, xăng sẽ đạt mức tăng tá»›i 3,02p. Vậy, tại thời Ä‘iểm này, việc nắm được chính xác giá nhiên liệu sẽ dừng ở mức nào là Ä‘iều không thể.”

Oil price hikes wipe out 1p fuel cut for motorists

Soaring world oil prices have already wiped out the 1p fuel duty cut announced in the Budget, according to latest figures from the RAC.

It said the average UK price of petrol is now 133.55p a litre, which is 0.02p higher than the average price on March 23 when the duty cut was announced.

The average price of unleaded in Northern Ireland on Friday was 133.83p per litre, the steepest in the UK. On March 18, the average price here was 133.8p per litre.

Diesel here was 139.7p per litre on the same date, while on Friday the average was 140.09.

RAC motoring strategist Adrian Tink said: “The volatile oil market has meant that drivers have seen very little benefit from the duty cut. Prices are continuing to spiral upwards with no end in sight to the high prices.

 “The Chancellor made a great deal about the ‘Fair Fuel Stabiliser' but it's only stabilising government revenue.

 “And just to add to the pain, the delayed inflationary increase of 3.02p is due to come in on January 1. Who knows what the price of fuel will be at this point?”

The AA said that the UK average for diesel was now 140.13p a litre — within 0.13p of the record set on March 23.
