The fuel smuggling from Vietnam to Cambodia has recurred recently in Hung Dien and Hung Dien B communces, Tan Hung district (Long An province).

Motorcyles fleets have been carrying fuel cans in everyday night (from ze to 3 or 4 am). They crept through narrow roads along the border, or passed Cai Co driver to enter the territory of Cambodia in order to sell fuel. Currently, A92 gasoline price in Cambodia is VND5,000 a liter higher than price in Vietnam.

Mr Dao Quoc Cuong, the head of No7 Market Management Group (Tan Hung-Vinh Hung area) confirmed the fuel smuggling from Viet Nam to Cambodia has recurred, however, the group find hard to check and arrest smuggling people because they are very sophisticated. A group of watchers will alert smuggling people when they see functional forces.

Beside that, many gas stations along border hold for hoarding.
