Since August 1st, retail cooking gas price in domestic market has been increasing forward another VND52,000 to VND367,000 a cylinder of 12kg.

Previously, retail prices of cooking gas were prevailling at VND315,000-360,000 a cylinder of 12kg (depending on branches).

Representatives from distributors include Saigon Petro, MT Gas, Pacific Petro… said the adjustment of price this time is due to the impact of up trend of gas price in the world market.

Gas price in the world market has been rising again after a long time decrease. Currently, gas price is importing into Vietnam at USD775 a tonne, up by USD177.50 a tonne over early July.
