Yeterday afternoon (October 8th), Vietnam’s state owned Petroleum Group (PetroVietnam) hold an online press conference to report about business activities in the first nine months this year. Mr Phung Dinh Thuc- Chairman of the board hosted the press conference.
At the press conference, a report showed that PetroVietnam has done 78% of plan of 2012 on oil production in the first nine months this year.
PetroVietnam has signed three new oil and gas contracts, include a contract signed with foreign.
PetroVietnam also found additional two new oil and gas fields include white fishermen and White Rabbit, put a total of five new fields and projects into operation so far this year.
It, simultaneously, also invested to foreign project with USD 1.8 billion.
In addition, PetroVietnam also corporations also extracted solid minerals and traded petroleum products in foreign.
