Junce contract gas price in world market continued to plunge and now is at USD722 a tonne, downed more than USD 130 a tonne from early May.
With the decrease of world gas price, some domestic gas companies have announced to lowered their price. In detail, Saigon Petro, Vinagas ... formally reduced by VND30,000 per cylinder of 12 kg since 7h30 am June 1st, so retail price to consumers does not exceed VND 340,000 per cylinder of 12kg.
As known, Dung Quat oil refinery is in the breaking time for maintenance, so the gas companies have to push up the imports to offset the shortfall.
