Speaking at the 41st regular meetings of Vietsovpetro (a joint venture company between Vietnam and Russia), Mr Nguyen Huu Tam – General Director said that company has completed the plan of 6.11 million tonnes of oil and 1.23 billion cubic metters of gas in this year.

This is the fourth year since the start of operations Vietsovpetro achieving the revenue of $USD5 billion per year

For the exploration aspect, Vietsovpetro has completed the construction, tested the edge of 8 wells and put into operation for 34 new wells from 29 wells as initial expectation.

At the meeting, the board of company approves the plans for 2013. Accordingly, Vietsovpetro continues to take the reasonable and effective measures in order to finish the safety exploitation of 5.4 million tonnes of oil and 1.3 billion cubic meters of gas.

Vietsovpetro also disscus on the expansion of the area of operation and remuneration for staffs.
