On the occasion of 36th anniversary of Materials – Petroleum Joint Stock Company (COMECO) (13-12-1975 - 13-12-2011), PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PV Oil) and COMECO officially launched E5 Bio-gas and -card payment service at gas station system of COMECO
Speaking at E5 Biofuels business conference, Ms. Truong Duc Hanh - Chairman and CEO of COMECO said, this is one of the most practical action to show the cooperation between PV OIL and COMECO in the protection of clean and green environment, and show the responsibilities of COMECO to the community.
At this event, COMECO Board directly offered gifts and answered some questions by themselve for customers on the utility of E5 biofuel.
Accordingly, E5 bio-gas will implement at 15 gas stations of COMECO, bringing total of 144 gas stations PV OIL distributes for in 34 provinces across the country.
E5 biofuel is produced by PV Oil and it is distributed officially since August 1st, 2010. It is used as fuel for engines of motorcycles and automobiles. E5 bio-gas helps to improve combustion efficiency, compression ratio, fuel economy, and engine durability when mixes it with ethanol. In particular, it helps to reduce emissions and protect the environment because of high octane rating
Parallely, to increase benefits to consumers, COMECO also officially launched the card payment as OP Card and OP Plus through the COMECO system. OP Card and OP Plus are products of cooperation between PV OIL and Ocean Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Ocean Bank). They were officially implemented at the petroleum station system of the PV PV OIL since July 2010.
