A source from Ho Chi Minh Petroleum Company said on November 30th that retail price of cooking gas in the domestic market will be lowed by VND1,000 per kg, equivalent to VND12,000 a cylinder of 12kg, applied since early December.

At the result, rerail gas price to end-user in Ho Chi Minh city and surrounding areas is at VND429,000 a cylinder of 12kg.

This is the first time gas price reduce after 4 months straight hike since August following the decrease of USD40 a tonne of world gas price to USD980 a tonne.
