Cooking gas price in Ho Chi Minh City will be downed to VND380,000 a cylinder of 12kg from April, as announced by major distributors on Last Sunday (31/03/2013).

Mr Nguyen Quang Trung, general director of MT Gas said that, April contract price of gas in the world market declined by USD82.5 a tonne from March contract to USD812.5 a tonne, lead to decrease price of domestic market of VND2,000 a kg.

Saigon Petro also downed gas price by VND24,000 a cylinder of 12kg to VND380,000 a cylinder of 12 kg.

This is the first time gas price to fell sharply in the four adjustments since early this year with total of VND48,000 a cylinder of 12kg.
