Hanoi city People's Committee has approved a planning of fuel stores system in the locality toward 2020 and orientation to 2030.

Accordingly, Ha Noi is going to remove, relieve, relocate 56 fuel stores in 2020, but build simultaneously about new 312-347 fuel stores in this period time and continue to build additional news 31-50 ones in 2020-2030.

In the period of time 2010-2015, Ha Noi has been implementating the construction of 5 tier-1 stores; 48 tier-2 stores and 65 tier-3 stores.

As estimates, total investment (mobilized by fuel traders) to 2015 is at VND989 billion; VND630 billion in 2016-2020.

Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee - Nguyen Van Suu said the goal of planning is to ensure the fuel supply for people as well as meet the requirements for economic and social development in Ha Noi.

In addition, planning is to manage and rearrange existing fuel store system in Ha Noi, phase out the unqualified stores in region.
