On 24-1, at the petrochemical region of the Dinh Vu Industrial Park locates in Hai Phong, JX Nippon Oil & Energy Company in Vietnam has started the construction of lubricant plant.

The lubricant plant of JX Nippon Oil & Energy have been granted investment certificate in May 9-2012. It will be built on a area of nearly 4 hectares with a total investment of more than USD40 million.

The project is expected to complete in late 2013 and will be put into operation in early 2014, providing products for the Japanese automotive and motorcycle manufacturers in Vietnam. Annual capacity of plant is about 40,000 tons.

JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corporation has been doing business in lubricant area in Vietnam since 1996, and has a representative office in Ho Chi Minh City.

Currently, Dinh Vu industrial zone has attracted 47 investment projects in which Japanese investment accounts for more than 50%.
