On May 8th, Ministry of Finance issued a Circular on increasing import taxes most of fuel products, effective immediately.

Accordingly, import tax of gasolines inreased by 3% to 19% from 16% previously, while import tax of DO, kerosene rose by 2% to 16% from 14%, and mazut up by 1% to 16% from 15%.

Comparing to the 30-days average prices of the globle market with the current prices in the domestic market, distributors are making profit of VND200 a liter of diesel and kerosene, and about VND400 a liter/kg of gasoline and mazut.
