Petrolimex is aiming to cut the costs by VND 137 billion as a part of restructing plan after equitization.

On February 24th, state’s own Petrolimex Group has held a ceremony for signing of commitment about saving costs of 5-10% in 2012.

Accordingly, Petrolimex will cut off costs from all the areas include construction, equipment procurement, labor, business and production. The value of the costs is aiming to VND137 billion, equivalent to the reduction of VND15 per liter in 2012 sales.

In detail, Petrolimex will enhance the management on water and electricity consumption in order to implement the cost reduction of 5% per liter.

In the period time from 2007 to 2011, Petrolimex has also saved about VND227,4 billion in construction and business areas.
