Mr Do Trung Thanh- Deputy Sale Manager from HCM City Oil and Gas One Member Limited Company (Saigon Petro) said that company has cut the retail price of cooking gas by VND7,000 a cyinder of 12kg from 7:30 am, January 1st, 2013.

After an adjustment, the retail price of cooking gas of Saigon Petro has downed to VND422,000 a cylinder of 12kg.

MTGas also announced to release the retail price of cooking gas about VND7,000 a cylinder of 12kg in the first day of new year 2013.

The move of Saigon Petro is due to the decrease of world gas price of USD25 a tonne during last month to USD955 a tonne.

In 2012, the gas retail price has 9 times to up and 7 times to down totally.
